Our History

CEI is a firm of professional engineers and designers with a diversity of experience and expertise in the field of civil and environmental engineering. Since 1974 CEI has offered consulting services to a number of municipalities, commissions, and authorities, as well as to the private sector.

CEI has the support of state-of-the-art computers, digital plotters and computer-aided drafting in order to provide accuracy and speed in the production and generation of plans and designs.

CEI offers a wide range of engineering services in the field of municipal engineering in a manner to achieve fast, efficient, and cost-effective designs. Awards & Distinction

CEI was the first civil engineering firm to receive the ‘Erosion and Sedimentation Pollution Control Award’ from the Carbon County Conservation District. [2003]

CEI was the first civil engineering firm in Pennsylvania to propose and oversee construction of the largest eco-flow peat-filter on-lot sewage disposal system (Youth Services Agency, Eldred Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania). [2004]

CEI was the first civil engineering firm in Pennsylvania to propose a 60’ CON/SPAN® arch bridge to be approved by PennDOT (Carbon County Bridge No. 16 Replacement Project, Towamensing Township, Carbon County, Pennsylvania). [2011]
